Ahead of IND vs NZ Tests, India Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma pays visit to injured Musheer Khan in a heartwarming gesture

India Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma has gone on to meet injured Musheer Khan ahead of the IND vs NZ Test series. The young all-rounder underwent a massive car crash. The young player was traveling with his father Naushad Khan while traveling to Azamgarh from Lucknow ahead of the Irani Cup.

Sarfaraz Khan’s brother suffered a neck fracture and is set to be ruled out of action for the next couple of months. Musheer is keen to be back in action when he becomes fit. And Rohit Sharma visited the young player from Mumbai as a mark of wonderful gesture.

Musheer is expected to miss action for the next three months and thus won’t play for Mumbai in the opening phase of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season. Owing to his accident, he failed to take part in the Irani Cup clash. It also remains to be seen if Musheer becomes fit ahead of the India A’s shadow tour to Australia.

Musheer Khan to take time to Recover

“Good evening. I first want to thank the almighty for the new life. Also to those who prayed for us. Our well-wishers and fans. Our relatives. We thank everyone. Also, we also want to express gratitude to MCA and BCCI who are taking care of Musheer. And what’s for the future, that update will also be given by them. I will just say, whatever we haven’t got, we need to wait for that. Whatever we have got, we have to be grateful. This is what life is,” Naushad said in the video posted by Sarfaraz.

Rohit was spotted with Musheer and his father Naushad Khan. The father of Sarfaraz and Musheer previously expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the BCCI and the MCA for taking utmost care of his youngest son.
