- If India loses to Australia, and New Zealand wins both their remaining matches then it will be game over for India. In such a scenario, with 6 points the White Ferns will reach the top 4.
- If India loses to Australia and then New Zealand wins one game and loses the other, both teams will be left stranded on equal points. Then the team with better NRR will qualify for the semi-finals.
