The current T20 World Cup champions are dominating the T20I format, as evidenced by their ongoing series against Bangladesh, where they thrashed the Bangla Tigers in the first two games of the three-match T20I series, first in Gwalior and now in Delhi. They have sealed the third T20I series after the T20 World Cup 2024, following victories against Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, and now Bangladesh.

Also, with the win against Bangladesh, India got  their 16th consecutive series win at home in T20I bilateral games, a streak that began in 2019 and is currently running at full pace.
