India cricket team spinner Ravichandran Ashwin feels sorry for the Pakistan cricket team, given their present state. The Men in Green saw yet another resignation from Babar Azam as the white-ball skipper, just before the side embarks on a hectic schedule featuring ODIs and T20Is. The veteran spinner called out the Pakistan’s tendency to keep shuffling captains and how it affected the team.
Ashwin feels “sorry” for Pakistan
“I am speaking the truth when I say that the current state of Pakistan cricket and the phase they are going through makes me feel a little sorry. Because some of the most exceptional cricketers have played for Pakistan, and it was such a great team,” Ashwin said in a video.
“Their whole musical chairs situation is truly something. The music keeps playing, and they just think about grabbing a chair; that’s how it feels,” he added.

The star batter, who’s current form is miserable, took over the reins from Shaheen Afridi before the T20 World Cup only to lead the side to a group stage exit at the marquee event. While reports claim that Babar Azam was asked to stay on as the ODI skipper and he refused, the call to replace Babar as skipper was already growing louder.
