And since the BCCI confirmed long ago that there would be a mega auction before IPL 2025, this puts a definitive end to the trade rumors. Players can only move to other teams via trade around the mini auction. What is trade window in IPL?
If we look at how the trade window works, it usually opens a month after the end of the IPL edition and remains open until a week before the IPL auction. The window reopens after the auction as well and ends a month before the start of the new season.
