The bond that a sister shares with her brother is something else only. So is the case with cricketer Smriti Mandhana. She is one of the finest cricketers of the Indian women’s team. Today, September 30 2024, Smriti is celebrating her brother’s birthday. She has taken to social media and wished him.
Not just birthdays, Smriti also looks up to her brother for better understanding of cricket and credits him for her better understanding.
To wish her brother Shravan, Smriti shared a video of the moments that they both shared. Along with the video, she wrote, “Happpy Birthdayyy Bhaiyuuu!!Love you. Thanks to you this song in on my playlist now.”

Talking about her brother, in one of the interviews, Smriti said, “More than anything else, he is interested in the number of sixes I have hit. He is fascinated by sixes… I started playing at the age of five and I still remember how I would watch him bat closely and would look forward to him bowling to me. There was a time when he had a good number of cricket balls that he won given his good performances in various tournaments, while I did not have any. And those balls are really special as they are signed by seniors and popular cricketers. But he would happily share those balls with me so that I could continue practising.”
When asked if her brother gets jealous when someone comes to get a photo clicked with her. To this, Smriti said that her brother never gets jealous or awkward.
