Earlier in the IND vs BAN Day 4, Bangladesh could add just 233 in their first innings. Mominul Haque scoring a brilliant unbeaten 107. Jasprit Bumrah picked up 3/50 with Siraj, Akash and Ashwin claiming a couple of wickets apiece.

With just around 4 and a half sessions left in the game, India responded in attacking manner with Jaiswal and Rohit adding 50 in 3 overs. Jaiswal moved to 72 in 51 deliveries. KL Rahul was brilliant and regained his form with 68 in 43 balls, Virat Kohli hit 47 in 35 deliveries.

The Bangladesh spin twins Mehidy Hasan Miraz (4/41) and Shakib Al Hasan (4/78) shared 8 wickets among them as India declared their innings on 285/9 in just 34.4 overs.

Bangladesh failed to get a good start and lost Zakir Hasan early in the innings as R Ashwin spun a web opening the bowling. Hasan Mahmud the nightwatchman went for a slog and was cleaned up by the off spinner.
