With India leading the series 1-0 following a dominant 280-run victory in Chennai, Rohit Sharma’s catch was a standout moment.

Positioned at mid-off, Rohit completed his jump flawlessly as Das’s powerful drive off Mohammed Siraj appeared to go for the boundary. Just when it seemed the ball would go away, Rohit’s right hand reached out, catching the ball cleanly. Das, who scored 13 runs, was left in disbelief, having struck the ball beautifully but unable to dodge Rohit’s exceptional reflexes.

After the catch, the entire Indian team shared a moment of surprise before smiles broke out, as Rohit celebrated his catch, raising his hand in celebration. This dismissal marked the fifth wicket for Bangladesh, who were at 148 runs, following Jasprit Bumrah’s earlier dismissal of Mushfiqur Rahim for 11 runs on the fourth day.

Day-4 India vs BAN Test

Bangladesh started their first inning on day four, the first day of play after three days of rain. At the time of writing, the Bangladesh Tigers have scored 177 runs for 6 wickets. The only half-century came from Mominul Haque, who is batting at 78 runs right now. From the Indian side, R. Ashwin and Akash Deep grabbed 2 wickets each, while Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah took one wicket each.
