But India will have their task much easier, courtesy – New Zealand’s poor form. In the first SL vs NZ Test, the visitors were handed 63 run defeat by Sri Lanka. Why India can have it easy?
In reply, New Zealand were bowled out for a mere score of 88 runs and the follow-on was enforced. Interestingly, leggie Prabhat Jayasurya wreaked havoc by claiming a six-fer and giving away just 42 runs. All the star batters failed piling more concern for the Black Caps.
And with New Zealand succumbing to spinners in Sri Lanka, it will be a treat for the Indians. When India go on to host the Kiwis at home, it can be expected that India’s spinners too will weave their magic on the slow and turning tracks.
