After winning two bronze medals in the Paris Olympics, Manu Bhaker will now return to training in November. She’s been on the break since the conclusion of the Olympics. The 22-year-old shooter ended a 12-year-long wait for a shooting medal for India at the Olympics.
In an Instagram post, Manu shared an update on her return, expressing that she was enjoying her time off. She said, “For all those asking what has changed in my life after winning the medals: NOTHING. I am still the same Manu Bhaker and enjoying my break. I’ll return to the shooting ranges in November and start training again.”
Missing the ISSF World Cup final
Manu Bhaker will also miss the ISSF World Cup Final, scheduled from October 13 to 18 in New Delhi. Her coach, Jaspal Rana, mentioned that after her hard work and Olympic success, the young athlete deserved a well-earned break.
