Indian team’s wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant showcases his newfound spin bowling skills as he takes to the nets against fellow cricketer Shubman Gill. Both centurions in Chennai is all set to take on Bangladesh in the second Test at Kanpur on Friday. In a video uploaded by BCCI, Rishabh Pant was seen doing spin bowling in the nets.
What happens in the video
In the practice session, Shubman Gill starts with a playful challenge, telling , “Be ready to take the ball, Jaddu (Ravindra Jadeja who was fielding) bhai! I’m going to play a lot of drives.” KL Rahul joins the banter, asking Rishabh, “You bowled in the Delhi Premier League, right?” To which Rishabh responds, “Yes!” after bowling one delivery, Pant confidently say, “See I beat him!” As Gill showcases his batting skills with some solid shots, he later turns to Rishabh, saying, “Rishabh, thanks for the practice!”
