Harry Brook calls for patience after Three Lions go down 2-0 to Australia

ENG vs AUS ODI: Following 2-0 loss to Australia, England Cricket Team captain Harry Brook asks for patience from fans on Three Lions

England Cricket Team went on to lose their second ODI match against Australia. And with that the hosts as now 2-0 down against their biggest rivals. But now new England skipper Harry Brook has called for patience with England’s white ball squad. With 3 more games remaining, the Three Lions will have to turn the tide in the next games to have any chance to salvage the series.

After a 7-wicket loss int he first game, England were handed a 68 run loss in the second ENG vs AUS ODI. Tasked to chase 271, the hosts were bowled out for just 202 runs as Alex Carey bagged the man of the match award. Despite the two losses, Harry Brook has asked the fans to have patience on the team.

“We are an inexperienced side playing one of the best in the world. It is a new era and it is about patience and trying to have fun as well. There are so many positives we can take from these two games, we have done everything we said we wanted to do,” Harry Brook told Sky Sports.

Harry Brook currently fills in as the stand in skipper for the England Cricket Team in place of injured captain Jos Buttler. England will be keen to take on Aussies in the 3rd game of the 5-match series Riverside Ground following their back to back losses in Trent Bridge and Headingly.
