South Korean pistol shooter Kim Ye-ji, who won a silver medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event at the Paris Olympics, has now taken her first steps into acting. She has landed a role as an assassin, marking a major transition from sports to entertainment.

From Shooting range to the silver screen

At 32, Kim gained massive online attention due to her calm and composed nature during competitions, along with her unique appearance. Her videos from the Olympics went viral, earning praise from celebrities, including Elon Musk.

Star Role in Spinoff Series ‘Crush’

Following her rise to fame, Kim will star in a spinoff short-form series called ‘Crush’, which is part of the global film project ‘Asia’. This news was confirmed by a spokesperson from the Seoul-based entertainment firm, Asia Lab. In this series, Kim will act alongside Indian actress and influencer Anushka Sen.
