Injury scare for Siraj while fielding in IND vs BAN 1st Test, returns after brief time off field

Mohammed Siraj seemingly injured himself while attempting to stop a boundary in the 2nd session of play in IND vs BAN 1st Test

In what could be a potential blow for India, pacer Mohammed Siraj walked off the field after injuring himself while fielding in the IND vs BAN 1st Test. The bowler attempted to save two runs but looked like he pulled his hamstring in the attempt. He then walked off the ground with the physio attending to him. Sarfaraz Khan has substituted Siraj on the field.

Siraj injured? Pacer walks off field in between IND vs BAN 1st Test

Siraj was off the field for a brief while before he returned to action. The pacer had joined the preparatory camp in Chennai ahead of the 1st Test after missing the Duleep Trophy due to an illness.

While his fellow pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep managed to grab two wickets each, Siraj has only taken one wicket so far. His tally would have been two had India decided to take a review early in the innings when the ball tracking showed a delivery to one of the openers going on to hit the stumps.
