No Kuldeep Yadav for IND vs BAN 1st Test
Chennai’s own Ravichandran Ashwin and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have been included in the playing XI as India have opted for a two-spinner and three-pacer approach for the Chennai Test. Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel will warm the bench for the contest. This means that India will enter the contest without the services of any specialist spinners, given that both Ashwin and Jadeja are all-rounders. The seam attack comprises of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep.
