Both Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel are different breeds of players who have their special qualms. While Axar is more of a traditional all-rounder, Kuldeep on the other hand is a specialist spinner. Both have different styles of bowling and can wreak havoc on the opposition at any given time.
But if the recent Duleep Trophy performances are to be considered, then Axar Patel stands ahead of Kuldeep. Not only Axar is handy with the bat, in fact he impressed the selectors with his first innings knock of a magnificent 86. In 2 innings he managed to bag 3 wickets. Kuldeep on the other hand, had a poor outing and managed to scalp just a solitary wicket.
But then again, domestic cricket is different from International cricket. Axar’s ability to turn the ball on slow pitches and Kuldeep’s spin variations both make them deadly weapons against any opponent.
