No Rohit, Bumrah in Gautam Gambhir XI

It came as a surprise when Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir omitted Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah from his all-time India XI. Following his first series loss as coach, Gambhir shared his dream team with MS Dhoni at the helm. The lineup features cricket legends like Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, and Yuvraj Singh. Gambhir’s XI includes himself, Sehwag, Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj, Dhoni as wicketkeeper-captain, Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Irfan Pathan, and Zaheer Khan.

Mayank Yadav spills beans

Lucknow Super Giants pacer Mayank Yadav’s early India debut dreams were dashed by an injury during IPL 2024. His club coach, Devendra Sharma, revealed that the fiery bowler is currently undergoing rehab at the National Cricket Academy to recover from the injury. Despite being close to full fitness, Yadav’s coach confirmed that he was advised to focus on white-ball cricket for now and avoid the physical demands of the Duleep Trophy. PSL 2025 when?

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 is facing scheduling conflicts due to the crunch of dates with the South African T20 League (SA20). With SA20 2025 now occupying the January-February window, PSL will likely have to clash with the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. This could lead to player availability issues as many international cricketers prioritize IPL due to its higher financial rewards and overall prestige. In the Feb-March window, Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy.

IND 3: AUS 1

Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has predicted a 3-1 victory for India in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia. Gavaskar believes that Australia’s batting woes, particularly in the middle order, make them vulnerable to India’s strong bowling attack. The BGT, which begins on November 22 in Perth, promises to be a thrilling contest between two cricketing giants. India have had an edge over Australia, having won both their last two series Down Under.
