The Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season kicks off on September 13 with a marquee clash between the reigning league champions, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, and the ISL 2023-24 Cup winners, Mumbai City FC at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata.
The ISL revealed the schedule for the first 84 matches of the season, which are set to run until the end of this year.
The 2024-25 ISL season will feature 13 teams, with Mohammedan Sporting Club joining the league after earning promotion by finishing at the top of the I-League.

Atletico de Kolkata (ATK) were the winners of the inaugural season of ISL in 2014 when they defeated Kerala Blasters.
After defeating Mohun Bagan Super Giant 3-1 in the 2023–24 final at Kolkata’s storied Salt Lake Stadium, Mumbai City FC won their second ISL championship.
