The platform for PKL Season 11 is all set after the most crucial auction event concluded in Mumbai, with a total of 118 players going under the hammer. Several players were sold to various franchises, with Sachin Tanwar attracting the highest bid and becoming the most expensive player in PKL history. Also, Iranian kabaddi stars took center stage, being the top priority for all 12 PKL teams. Nearly ₹34 crores were spent in this auction process, and now everyone is eager for the fixtures and, most importantly, to know other marquee details. So, what can we expect from PKL 2024, and when will we be able to watch the kabaddi classics?
PKL season 11 schedule
With 12 teams now all set to target the silverware, we may see the tournament kick off in the first week of October, running for two months and possibly concluding in the last week of December or the first week of January. While the official announcement is yet to come, it is speculated that this schedule will be confirmed soon. The current PKL trend, especially from Season 10, where the tournament took place from December to February, could be replicated as well. However, since the PKL Season 10 auction happened in October and this year’s auction concluded in August, it gives a subtle hint that we may witness the league very soon.
