The SA20 2025 auction will take place in Cape Town on October 1. After the end of the pre-signing and retention window, the six franchises have just 13 slots to fill in their squads for the third season of the league. Each franchise will have to select their rookie player for the season while three franchises will announce their wildcard signing before December 30.

We are also incredibly proud of all the domestic players who have been retained by the teams, including the majority of the rookies who have been incorporated as fully-contracted players for Season 3,” he added.
