No fans allowed for PAK vs BAN 2nd Test in Karachi due to ongoing construction work

As per reports, the PAK vs BAN 2nd Test in Karachi will have no fans present due to ongoing renovation works at the stadium

In what is a sad news for fans, no supporters will be allowed in the National Stadium in Karachi for the PAK v BAN 2nd Test. The game, the second in the two-match series, is scheduled to be held between August 30 and September 3. As per reports, ongoing construction work at the stadium is revealed to be the reason why fans will not be allowed to view the game.

No fans for PAK vs BAN 2nd Test in Karachi

As per reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made the decision to not allow fans owing to the renovation work. Cricket returned to Pakistan recently, with teams afraid to travel to the country because of security concerns. Bangladesh, West Indies and England are scheduled to tour Pakistan in the upcoming international calendar.

Tickets for Karachi priced low, yet no fans allowed

The fear of empty stands has seen the price of the tickets for the Pakistan vs Bangladesh 2nd Test in Karachi drop to just INR 15 (PKR 50). During the PSL 2024, empty stands prevailed at the venue throughout the competition. Fans didn’t even come for Eliminator or the Final.

Fearing that it’d happen again, the tickets for the second Test start at 15 INR for the Wasim Bari enclosure. However, now fans won’t be able to view the game.
