Paris Olympics Schedule, Day 12: Aditi Ashok starts campaign in golf, women’s TT team plays quarters

With Neeraj Chopra qualified for the javelin final at the Paris Olympics, all eyes are now on Day 12, where Amit Panghal and Manika Batra are set to charm with their skills on August 7.

After a sensational Day 11, Vinesh Phogat won both her Round of 16 and quarterfinal matches, advancing to the semifinals in the 50 kg wrestling event at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Meanwhile, Neeraj Chopra, the “Golden Boy,” clinched a place in the javelin final with a throw of 89.34 meters. Also, the Indian men’s hockey team has secured a place in the final for the first time in 44 years, last qualifying in Moscow in 1980. Their match will start at 10:30 p.m.

Now, all eyes are on the table tennis athletes and wrestlers, who will aim to qualify for the medal rounds.

As the Olympics approach their final stages, Day 12 is set to showcase many stars, from Mirabai Chanu to Manika Batra.
