The Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, with matches played at three venues: Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore. Below is a list of winners from the tournament’s inception in 1998 to the most recent edition in 2017.

The PCB has proposed a schedule for the upcoming Champions Trophy, featuring 15 matches over 20 days from February 19 to March 9. The India vs Pakistan match is tentatively set for March 1. However, discussions are ongoing regarding the venue for India’s matches, as they have expressed reluctance to travel to Pakistan for the tournament.

The format was altered to just include the top 8 teams in the ICC ODI rankings beginning with the 2009 edition. Six months before to the start of the award, the rankings cutoff was established. The Champions Trophy was dropped after the 2017 edition in order to concentrate on holding one worldwide competition for each of the three forms of cricket.
