The India Cricket Team are on the verge of losing the IND vs SL ODI series. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka await to create history by beating India in a bilateral series for the first time since 1997. In a bid to save the series, the Men in Blue need to come out with all guns blazing.
Both batting and bowling haven’t been at par, with the special focus being on the batting unit. Team India has failed to score big runs, as they have been unable to chase down shallow targets. On both the occasions, India has failed to chase down scores that are sub 250.
Focus on Batting
The first game ended in a tie, while in the second match, the hosts etched up a 32 run win. Now, the first priority for Rohit Sharma and Co will be solidify their attack. Team India has enough fire power to take on any team in the world. But each of the batters have been thoroughly inconsistent.
Save Rohit Sharma and Axar Patel, the rest of the batters have been tremendously inconsistent. The Indian skipper has been leading the charge for the Men in Blue. He slammed 58 runs in the first game and then slammed a fine 64 runs in the second game.
India has a massive batting depth and it is high time that they come out with all guns blazing. While the bowling team has been rather consistent, in order to salvage the IND vs SL series, it is the batting unit that needs to fire on all cylinders.
