Rajasthan-born Maheshwari Chauhan is an Indian sport shooter. He was born on July 4, 1996. Chauhan was the first person from India to win a medal in the women’s skeet at a global competition. Vikram Singh Chopra, the national coach, oversaw her training.

Maheshwari Chauhan’s family
Chauhan was born in Siana, located in the Jalore district of Rajasthan. She completed her education at Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi. Supported by the sports NGO Olympic Gold Quest, Chauhan began shooting for fun with her grandfather Ganpat Singh, her father Pradeep Singh, and her brother Daksheshwar Singh at their private range in Siana. She married hotelier Adhiraj Singh in 2023.
