Former India cricket team skipper MS Dhoni has picked premium pacer Jasprit Bumrah as his current favourite in the national side. The ex-CSK skipper chose Bumrah over the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kolhi, noting that it was difficult to pick one best batter. Thala Dhoni added that he hoped India would continue scoring runs while admitting that it was easy for him to pick a favourite bowler rather.
Not Ro-Ko, Bumrah is MS Dhoni’s favourite
“Current favourite, it’s easy to pick a bowler since Bumrah is there. It’s difficult to pick a batter because we have several good batters but that doesn’t mean bowlers aren’t good. It’s difficult pick one among batters as whomever I see batting,” MS Dhoni said, as per Hindustan Times.
Unmatchable Bumrah
Among current players, no one can match the skills and excellence of Bumrah. He claimed 15 wickets at an impressive average of 8.26 and an astonishing economy rate of 4.17 in the T20 WC. He joined Virat Kohli as one of the Indian players to win the Men’s T20 World Cup Player of the Tournament award.
