Manu Bhaker, newly crowned Olympics legend, expresses gratitude after another bronze at Paris Olympics

Paris Olympics: Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh bagged the second medal at Olympics 2024 for Team India.

Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh created history of sorts as the duo bagged a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event on Tuesday. What is even more remarkable is that, this was Manu’s second medal in three days, after she won a bronze medal in the individual 10m air pistol event at the Paris Olympics.

And after the event, she only had gratitude towards all the countrymen, who supported her throughout. Moments after snatching the bronze medal from the South Korean mixed team, Manu Bhaker said, “It is all because of the blessings,” she told JioCinema.

It wasn’t the easiest of playoffs for Manu and her partner Sarabjot Singh, as the Korean pair took the first series rather convincingly. But Manu made it clear that she could control only what was in her hand, the pistol. “Me and my partner had decided that we will take things, as they come, after all you can only control as much,” she added.
