Arjun Babuta will compete in the men’s 10m air rifle final at the Paris Olympics, aiming to etch his name in history by winning a medal. Babuta finished seventh in the qualification round with a total score of 630.1. He made an outstanding comeback after missing the chance to compete in the final of the mixed team event.
Arjun Babuta past achievements
Babuta won his first medal at the Chandigarh State Shooting Championship in 2013. Since then, he has not looked back. In the National Shooting Team, he trained for 10 hours a day under the coaching of Deepali Deshpande. His hard work paid off when he was selected for the Junior National Rifle Shooting team in 2016.

He recorded his highest career score of 632.4 points in the qualifying round at a shooting competition held in the Czech Republic in 2016. This achievement boosted his confidence, and he frequently scored more than 620 points. In 2018, he had to take a break due to health problems, including back pain. Nevertheless, he continued performing on the home circuit and secured a bronze medal at the Khelo India event.
