From Samsung’s foldable phone to bottles, find out what’s in athletes’ welcome kit at Paris Olympics?

The Paris Olympics are set to start officially from Friday, July 26th. The 19 days of tournament will conclude on August 11th.

The Paris Olympics are almost here. Athletes and officials have started arriving at the Paris Olympic Village. As sportspeople arrive at the venue, they are receiving a couple of gift hampers. Recently, the official Olympics page uploaded a video showcasing the Paris Olympic welcome kit.

The kit includes a Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphone, a couple of bottles from Coca-Cola, welcome cards and a dental kit in the package. The kit is a way to greet the athletes and make them feel welcome in Paris.

The Official price of Samsung’s Galaxy Z flip 6 in India is Rs 1,09,999.

Historic Opening Ceremony Set for Paris Olympics

The opening ceremony for the Paris Olympics will take place on July 26. The ceremony will be held near the River Seine, marking the first time an Olympic Games Opening Ceremony to be held outside a stadium.

10,500 athletes are participating

Over 10,000 athletes are expected to participate in the Olympics. They will come to Paris and compete across all genders and nationalities. Talking of venues, a total of 35 locations will host the Olympics, ranging from historical landmarks to commercial spaces.

300+ events at the Paris Olympics

Close to 300 events will be contested across 32 sports. From traditional sports like swimming and athletics to recently added events like surfing and skateboarding, Paris 2024 will host a variety of competitions.
