VALORANT Champions 2024: Ten Teams Locked in, Six Spots Up for Grabs

VALORANT World Championship aka VALORANT Champions 2024 is set to take place in Korea. Check out the qualified teams so far below.

The VALORANT Champions 2024 has gathered the top sixteen teams from various global regions to compete for the prestigious Valorant World Championship trophy. These teams have secured their spots through intense competition in international leagues and master tournaments. Till today, ten teams have secured the spot for the championship.

Representatives from the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), Pacific, and China regions have demonstrated exceptional skill to earn their place as regional champions.

VALORANT Champions 2024 Qualified Teams

The Valorant Champions 2024 will kick off with the group stage, running from August 1 to 11, followed by the playoffs from August 14 to 18. The grand finals are scheduled for August 23 to 25.

As the VCT international leagues proceed with their Stage 2 events, teams are still vying for points to secure their qualification, with final standings to be determined at the conclusion of each Stage 2 event.

  • DRX: Advanced to Champions via VCT Pacific Stage 2
  • Gen.G Esports: Advanced to Champions via VCT Pacific Stage 2
  • Paper Rex: Advanced to Champions via VCT Pacific Stage 2
  • Talon Esports: Advanced to Champions via VCT Pacific Stage 2
  • Edward Gaming: Advanced to Champions via VCT China Stage 2
  • FunPlus Phoenix: Advanced to Champions via VCT China Stage 2
  • Fnatic: Advanced to Champions via VCT EMEA Stage 2
  • FUT Esports: Advanced to Champions via VCT EMEA Stage 2
  • Team Heretics: Advanced to Champions via VCT EMEA Stage 2
  • Leviatan: Advanced to Champions via VCT Americas Stage 2

The tournament format includes a group stage featuring four double-elimination groups (GSL style), each containing four teams. All matches in this stage are best-of-three. The top two teams from each group will move on to the playoffs, which will be conducted in a double-elimination bracket format. Here, matches will also be best-of-three, except for the lower bracket final and the grand final, which are best-of-five.
