Thomas Muller bids adieu
Thomas Muller has had a glorious international career. He went on to lift the FIFA 2014 World Cup with his side. Germany went on to beat Argentina in extra time in the finals. A late Mario Gotze ensured that Muller and Co lifted the coveted trophy. Interestingly, in 2010 World Cup, Muller won the Golden Boot award.
And with 131 caps for his country, he is also the third highest player with most appearances for his country. Only Miroslav Klose (137) and Lothar Matthaus (150) have more caps ahead of him.
