Colombian pop singer Shakira will set the stage on fire with a 25 minute performance at the half-time of the Copa America final between Argentina and Colombia. The game began after an hour and a half delay owing to chaos created by fans outside the venue as many attempted to enter the Hard Rock Stadium without possessing tickets for the game.
However, the pop singer’s performance during the half-time break means an extended wait for both sides to get back to the middle, which could potentially affect the momentum of the sides.
Shakira gets 25-min window despite delayed start for ARG vs COL
Initially, Shakira was supposed to perform for a longer time before the delayed start forced the window to be reduced to 25 minutes. This could might as well hamper Colombia’s momentum as the side has been on the attack right from the start.
At the half-time mark, Colombia had taken 8 shots while Messi and co. only managed to take three shots. COL dominated the possession in the first half, maintaining 53% possession while Argentina only managed 47%.
Argentina have been defensive so far in the game as they attempted to control an aggressive Colombia.
