Neeraj Chopra made history at the Tokyo Olympics by winning India’s first medal in track and field. This achievement inspired many athletes in India to aim for similar success in the future. For the Paris Olympics, India has sent its best 30-member squad for athletics events, featuring the golden boy Neeraj Chopra and other emerging talents.
The Indian athletics squad will spend the last three weeks of their Olympic preparations in three different countries before meeting in Paris on July 28. The Olympic Sports Center in Spala, Poland; Antalya, Turkey; and St. Moritz, Switzerland, will serve as the athletes’ training locations.
Neeraj Chopra is already training in Antalya, Turkey, and he will arrive in Paris on July 28.
