CONMEBOL has announced that Grammy and Latin Grammy award-winning artist Shakira will be performing for the first time at the Copa America. The Copa America 2024 Final will kick off at 8:00 p.m. (local time) on Sunday, July 14, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, with an anticipated attendance of over 54,000 fans.
“Shakira is an extraordinary South American star who has dazzled the entire world. Her songs are sung and danced to in every corner of the planet, turning her art into a global phenomenon that crosses borders and is enjoyed by millions of people,” said Alejandro Domínguez, president of CONMEBOL. “We are sure that her performance at the CONMEBOL Copa America USA 2024 will enhance the message of healthy passion and unity through sport.”
The semifinals start on Tuesday with a rematch between Argentina and Canada at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. On Wednesday, Colombia will face Uruguay at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
