On Sunday, MS Dhoni, the renowned Indian cricketer and one of the country’s greatest captains across all formats, celebrated his 43rd birthday. The only captain in world cricket history to win all three ICC trophies in the white-ball format is currently in Mumbai to celebrate Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s family’s Sangeet.
Dhoni celebrated his birthday eve in the presence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The former CSK captain also got a surprise video call from teammate Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Dhoni is seen cutting the birthday cake with Sakshi and Salman in a video that went viral on social media. Salman is also seen grinning broadly as he looks at Dhoni in a photo that the actor shared on social media. “Happy Birthday Kaptaan Sahab! @msdhoni,” he captioned the post.

Ruturaj surprises MS Dhoni with video call from Zimbabwe
Afterwards, Dhoni was surprised with a video call from Ruturaj, who was calling from Zimbabwe. The call came during his midnight celebrations in Mumbai with a few of his close friends.
Along with Dhoni, fellow cricket players Tushar Deshpande and Mukesh Kumar participated in the video chat and wished him a happy birthday. Later, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings uploaded a screenshot of the video call to Instagram.
