A heartwarming reunion! Ishan Kishan couldn’t contain his excitement upon meeting teammate Hardik Pandya. After enduring criticism during the IPL, Pandya bounced back spectacularly in the T20 World Cup, playing a key role in India’s victory. Kishan expressed his joy with a warm hug, exchange of kisses, and a sweet message, calling Pandya “Meri jaan” and showcasing his love to him. Kishan played this year’s IPL under Pandya’s captaincy and are known as close friends.

It was a rejoicing moment for cricket fans and movie buffs! Hugh Jackman, a cricket enthusiast and a worldwide sensation, named Rohit Sharma as his favorite player. Promoting his new Deadpool and Wolverine movie, Jackman praised Rohit as a “beast” who led India to T20 World Cup victory.

With the euphoria of the T20 World Cup 2024 victory still fresh, the Indian cricket team sets its sights on a new horizon. A five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, starting from today (July 6), marks the beginning of a new era. It is Shubman Gill, who will lead the team full of IPL 2024 stars. Gill even named his opening partner, saying that Abhishek Sharma will walk out as an opener alongside him over Ruturaj Gaikwad, who will play at No. 3.

Concussion in India vs South Africa Women’s game!

Indian wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh suffered a blow to the face during the 1st T20I against South Africa. The injury, sustained while fielding, caused concern as Ghosh displayed concussion symptoms like dizziness and neck pain. Following the new concussion substitute rule, she was replaced by Sajeevan Sajana for the remainder of the match. Her batting exploits were definitely missed as the Indian team were completely outclassed by the Proteas.

Spain outs Hosts Germany, France knockout Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal!

The Euro Cup quarterfinals lived up to it’s hype. Spain and Germany were locked in an enticing 1-1 battle but an injury time goal at the end of extra time from Mikel Moreno saw La Roja knocking out hosts Germany from Quarters of the tournament. In the second match of the day, France outclassed Portugal in the penalty shootout after the game remained goalless. The Dream for Cristiano Ronaldo ended after Joao Felix missed his penalty shootout.
