India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the members of the Indian contingent for the Paris Olympic Games on Thursday. PM Modi interacted with the players and guided them with encouraging words as they got ready to leave for Paris.
Our athletes will give their best- PT Usha
The contingent led by Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President P.T. Usha. She and her colleagues visited the official residence of the Prime Minister at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in their Olympic ceremonial attire.
PT Usha said, “A big thank you to Hon. PM Shri. Narendra Modi ji for meeting and inspiring our Paris-bound athletes. Knowing the support they have back home is extremely motivating. I’m sure this will spur them to achieving great success for our country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote in a post on X later. “Interacted with our contingent heading to Paris for the @Olympics. I am confident our athletes will give their best and make India proud. Their life journeys and successes give hope to 140 crore Indians.”
