After finally landing in India, star cricketer Virat Kohli met with his family ahead of his interaction with PM Narendra Modi on July 4 (Thursday). The Indian cricket team, alongside Virat Kohli, was given a hero’s welcome on the morning of Thursday as they brought home the T20 World Cup trophy, putting an end to an 11-year-old ICC trophy drought after defeating South Africa in Barbados on June 29.

The Indian team, along with the support staff, reached Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport after a delay due to the weather in the West Indies in the early morning of July 4, following a successful T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies where they won the trophy without losing a single game.
