India’s record in knock out stage
India were the maiden title winners of the inaugural season of the tournament. However, since 2007, the Indian cricket team has not won any edition. They have reached the semi-finals twice and, apart from 2007, have played in the final only once.
Last time, India were knocked out of the semi-final of the tournament by Australia. India has won only one semi-final match, in 2014 in Bangladesh, where they were later defeated by Sri Lanka by 6 wickets.
