Another game in the ICC T20 World Cup and Virat Kohli disappoints. The ace Indian batter departed for a duck after wasting 5 deliveries. In the all important IND vs AUS Super 8 clash in the T20 World Cup, Josh Hazlewood dispatched the star batter in a crucial blow for Team India.

Virat Kohli‘s form hasn’t been the same in the mega tournament. Kohli headed to USA and the Caribbeans carrying a rich vein of form. But the ace Indian batter failed to score big runs. However, in the past game, Kohli found his form back. But come the match against Australia, he again faltered.
Kohli in his bid to go big for a massive hit, failed to connect his shot. Kohli was bamboozled by a big bouncer from Josh Hazlewood and his loose shot took the aerial route. In the end, it was Tim David out in the deep who took a good catch.
Interestingly, this is Kohli’s 3rd duck in last 8 innings in T20Is. Previously, he had just 4 ducks across 107 innings in the shortest format of the game.
While India are almost in for the semis, the team would be dearly hoping for their ace batter to regain from in the semis and the final.
