Shubman Gill’s IPL captaincy records
Shubman Gill got his first taste of captaincy this year when he was appointed the captain of Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Unfortunately, the outcome was not favorable, as it was the worst season in GT’s IPL history. Gill managed to win only six out of 13 games, losing seven. GT’s match decisions and strategies were largely influenced by their coach, Ashish Nehra.
Throughout the season, Shubman’s inexperience was evident. Rashid Khan and Nehra were constantly assisting him during matches.
