After the match, Harmanpreet asked her what was Smriti’s favourite moment in the match between the wicket and the century. Harmanpreet also revealed that Smriti had planned to celebrate her first wicket in an unique way.
“During our batting camps, Smriti always urged me to make her bowl. She told me, ‘give me an over, I’ll run the length of the ground when I get a wicket’ but she ran only half the ground,” Harmanpreet said.

“The wicket moment was my favourite. Obviously, centuries are special. But I think I celebrated your 100 more than I celebrated mine. But the whole team celebrated my wicket like it was a big deal. Harmanpreet has been threatening me in practice sessions, urging me to bowl in the nets saying she wouldn’t give me bowling in the match if I did not bowl in the nets,” Smriti said.
