Defending champions England will take on West Indies in their first fixture of the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup on Thursday. The co-hosts of the tournament dominated the group in the first leg of the tournament, winning all four contests. Jos Buttler and co. on the other hand managed to finish 2nd in Group B with two wins and one no contest. Both sides are chasing their third World Cup title as they head into the Super 8.

England are expected to bring back all-rounder Will Jacks in the XI after leaving him out for their group stage game against Namibia. Similarly, the side is expected to bring back veteran pacer Mark Wood back into the bowling line-up as they head into a crucial stage of the tournament.

West Indies are also expected to make two or three changes for their Super 8 fixture against England. Roston Chase is expected to return in place of Shai Hope. Another decision that WI need to make is whether they will go with the Afghanistan match hero Obed McCoy or will Romario Shepherd return to the side.
