New Flintoff on the rise! Andrew Flintoff’s son Rocky named in England’s U-19 squad for Sri Lanka series

Junior Flintoff is all set to take charge of the cricket field, as the former stylish all-rounder Andrew Flintoff's son, Rocky Flintoff, has been named in England's U-19 squad for the Sri Lanka series.

It seems that a new Flintoff family member is all set to impress everyone with his batting and bowling skills. The former ‘busy’ England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, known for his stylish batting and aggressive bowling. His son, Rocky Flintoff, following in his footsteps. Junior Flintoff has been called up to the England men’s Under-19 squad. England’s Under-19 team will play three-match youth ODI series against Sri Lanka, starting on June 28th.

At the tender age of 16, Flintoff has already impressed with his all-around abilities, particularly with his batting. Playing for Lancashire 2nd XI. He made an impact by scoring a maiden century on his debut against Warwickshire 2nd XI at Edgbaston this April. Andrew Flintoff, who played 141 ODIs and 71 Tests for the England side, who was a wonderful asset to the team with his skills. And now it seems his son is slowly and steadily following his footsteps.

Lots of familiar names!

Apart from Rocky Flintoff, there are other familiar surnames associated with cricket are in the squad. Luc Benkenstein, the son of former South African batter and current Lancashire head coach Dale Benkenstein, is going to captain the team. Nottinghamshire off-spinner Farhan Ahmed, the younger brother of England international Rehan Ahmed, is also included.
