India at Olympics 2024: Contingent to have ‘sleeping advisor’ for Paris Games

The sleeping advisor, Dr. Monika Sharma went on to say, that the Olympics village could be stressful for the Indian athletes.

After a solid showing in the Tokyo 2020 Games, the expectation from the Indian contingent, for the Paris Olympics 2024, are at an all-time high. One expects Neeraj Chopra to win a gold, along with badminton doubles team of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty. The same is expected from a range of shooters, who have failed to get any medals for the country in the last 12 years at the Olympics.

So, in short, it will be a stressful environment for the Indian athletes. Now, the problem is being dealt with in the best possible manner as the Indian contingent at the Olympics 2024 will have a sleeping advisor in Paris — Dr. Monika Sharma. The Paris Olympics 2024 will be held from July 26 to August 11, and the sleep advisor will try to optimise sleep for the sportspersons, which will help them in their performance and recovery.
