“As discussed with other OB, as per your request, you can open up for the last T20 match against West Indies at Eden,” BCCI president Sourav Ganguly emailed to CAB chief Avishek Dalmiya, reported The Indian Express.
Confirming the developments, CAB shared pictures of ground staff sanitising the seats with masks on in the upper tier of the iconic stadium.
“CAB Medical Chairman Pradip Kumar Dey personally overseeing that masks and sanitizers are being placed over every seat of Upper Tier and boxes ahead of the #IndiavWestIndies T20 series starting from today at #EdenGardens,” Cricket Association of Bengal tweeted.
