Just like the previous editions, several prominent stars will grace the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) opening ceremony. The event will take place on March 22 before the opening match of the upcoming edition between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram International Cricket Stadium in Chennai.
Performers in opening ceremony
The BCCI has kept the ‘Rise as One’ theme for this year’s opening ceremony. The list of celebrities who will perform at the grand event including the likes of Akshay Kumar, AR Rahman, Tiger Shroff and Sonu Nigam among other stars. As stated above, Chennai will host the opening ceremony of this year’s IPL. MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, is the venue for the ceremony. The start time for the ceremony is 6:30 pm IST.
