Considered a T20 specialist, Chris Jordan has written history by claiming a fantastic hat-trick against a hapless USA side.

Chris Jordan’s homecoming to Barbados turned into a fairy tale as he became the first-ever England bowler to claim a hat-trick in T20 World Cup history. The right-arm seamer rattled the USA lower order, taking four wickets in a single over, including the hat-trick, to dismantle their innings for a paltry 115.

Playing a crucial Super 8 clash against USA, Jordan was brought in for Mark Wood, proved his worth immediately. Bowling the penultimate over of the first innings, he first dismissed Corey Anderson, who toiled hard for 29 runs. However, his hat-trick show bean when he dismissed Ali Khan with a full delivery that zipped through the batsman’s defenses.

It’s also the third hat-trick of the tournament, with Pat Cummins achieving the feat twice for Australia earlier (against Bangladesh and Afghanistan).
