Apart from KL Rahul and Shubman Gill, explosive lower order batter Rinku Singh also did not find a mention in Sreesanth's team.

Former Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth on Saturday named his 15-man India squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. With the T20 World Cup fast approaching, experts are giving out their opinions on the squad Team India should take to the USA and West Indies. Sreesanth has gone with a set team for the T20 WC, without many surprises. However, explosive batter Rinku Singh and wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul did not find a place in Sreesanth’s 15-man team.

Batters

Not many surprises there. Sreesanth went with the choices that are more or less likely to board the flight to USA. Along with captain Rohit Sharma, Sreesanth named Virat Kohli, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Suryakumar Yadav as his picks. However, Shubman Gill missed out from Sreesanth’s team.

All-rounders

Shivam Dube finds himself in Sreesanth’s squad for the T20 World Cup along with the more safer choices such as Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya.
