The left-arm wrist spinner claimed a 3-fer by sending LSG skipper KL Rahul, Nicholas Pooran (on a golden duck), and Marcus Stoinis back to the hut. With their X-factor back, Rishabh Pant and Co. registered their second win of the season.

Another talented youngster impresses in IPL 2024. The swashbuckling batter smashed the joint-most runs (55) in the match and hit seven boundaries (2 fours and 5 sixes) on his way to his maiden IPL fifty. Replacing another Aussie in Mitchell Marsh, the 22-year-old made sure he didn’t make the all-rounder’s absence felt.
Ayush Badoni saves LSG
77/5 was the score when Badoni entered the field. With a little over 10 overs left, the finisher scored 55 of just 35 balls and helped his side get to a par total of 167. The 24-year-old showed maturity beyond his age as he constructed a record-breaking 73-run stand with Arshad Khan.
